The Russians blew up a dam on the Mokhri Yala river in the Donetsk region

About it on June 11 reported Valery Shershen, spokesman for the security forces of the Tavri region, in a comment to “Ukrainian Pravda”.

“On the Mogri Yala River, the invaders demolished a dam, which led to flooding on both banks of the river. However, this will not affect the offensive operations of the security forces in Tawria direction,” the spokesman said.

According to him, the Russians are trying to slow Ukraine’s counterattack by blowing up hydraulic structures. However, this does not affect the progress of the defense forces.

“First, the occupiers blew up the Karliv reservoir, then the Khakovka hydroelectric station, and then they blew up other hydraulic structures in the occupied part of the Zaporizhia region. In the Zaporizhia region, they were expecting the advance of the defense forces. In order to slow down our advance, they used this tactic, they ate the hydraulic structure on the Mokhri River. They blew it up again,” Shershen said.

He also said that the defense forces switched from defense to attack in the direction of Tawria. It is already known about the liberation of Blakotadne, Neskuchne and Makarivka villages.

  • On Sunday, June 11, Oleksii Tovbush announced that soldiers of the named 68th Separate Fighter Regiment, together with neighboring units of the Armed Forces, would liberate the settlements of Blakotadne, Neskuchne and Makarivka.
