He noted that Ukraine is betting on the development of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex. In particular, new design developments, productivity, technology transfer, establishment of joint production with our allies and partners.
It is for this reason that the Cabinet of Ministers made it as easy as possible to import drones. Therefore, the government expanded the list of military and dual-use items that could be imported without the permission of the State Export Control Service.
“We have removed bureaucratic obstacles to the purchase of Ukrainian drones. Today, through a separate resolution, we facilitate the import of raw materials for the manufacture of ammunition and combat parts of UAVs. This will meet our needs and allow us to increase the production of unmanned aerial vehicles,” the Prime Minister said.
Schmigel added that the production of drones has already grown a hundredfold this year and will continue to grow.
Production of drones in Ukraine
It should be noted that during the full-scale war in Ukraine, the production of domestic drones is actively growing. Drones help our defenders in their fight against Russian invaders.
As a reminder, the government has allocated 40 billion hryvnias to invest in Ukrainian drone manufacturers in 2023.
