In Germany, a man attacked a group of Ukrainian children, injuring some of them – demanding that he speak in Russian and saying that Ukraine had started the war. The prosecutor’s office of Lower Saxony, where the incident took place, qualifies Case as attempted murder.

The episode took place on August 26 in Einbek. Police found several Ukrainian children walking near the bridge.

An unknown man aged 30-45 ordered the children to speak Russian. He also said that Ukraine started the war.

According to police, the man grabbed the girl by her hair and then grabbed the 10-year-old boy and threw him over the railing into the canal.

The child sustained injuries on his head and left leg when he collided with the steel bars fixed on the bridge. As the boy was lying in the canal, the man allegedly threw a glass bottle at him, which hit the victim in the right shoulder area. After that, the man disappeared from the crime scene.


The prosecutor’s office assured that the investigation is ongoing and that the assailant is being sought.
