Bohden Yeromokin returned to Ukraine – Zelensky thanked Qatar for helping to return the young man

According to him, a large group worked to return the young man in Ukraine and at the international level.

“I would like to personally thank everyone who helps return children from the occupied territories to Ukraine. Today we managed to return Bohden Yermokhin – a boy who was taken from Mariupol to the Russian Federation. There were many efforts to help. Thank you to everyone. I thank Qatar for the team, effective mediation and assistance. Especially grateful – said Zelensky.

At the same time, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Lubinets, posted a video on his Telegram channel with a young man who is already in Ukraine.

“On his birthday, they give him a flag of Ukraine and other gifts! However, the Ukrainian noted that the best gift for him is to be at home,” Lubinets wrote.

Return of Bohden Yermogin

Bohdan Yermokhin, a 17-year-old Ukrainian deported by the Russians, returned to Ukraine on November 19. He was deported from Mariupol to the Russian Federation and served there with a summons – he had to join the ranks of the Russian army and fight for the invaders who destroyed his hometown. The boy was not lost and appealed to President Volodymyr Zelensky to return him to Ukraine.

Deportation of Ukrainian children

It should be noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has been deporting Ukrainian children en masse from the occupied territories. They are taken to Crimea, the Russian Federation or Belarus for “rehabilitation” or rest in camps.

It is worth recalling that the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin and Ombudsman Maria Lavova-Belova in the case of deportation of Ukrainian children.
