The Ministry of Social Development, Territories and Infrastructure appealed to the Polish Ministry of Infrastructure and the Mobility Directorate of the European Commission with a request to hold a discussion on the possibility of blocking checkpoints by Polish carriers.

At the meeting, they intend to discuss issues related to the implementation of the notes on the capacity of Ukrainian-Polish checkpoints.
“We received a message about the blocking of checkpoints by Polish carriers. Such strikes and blockades harm everyone: our position is that both Ukrainian and Polish carriers are harmed,” emphasized Deputy Minister of Social Development, Territories and Infrastructure Serhii Derkach.
He noted that Ukraine is grateful for the continued support of the Polish people in the face of a full-scale war and is ready for a dialogue in which the interests of the carriers of both countries are equally represented.
A meeting with the European Commission Directorate (DG MOVE) is scheduled for 31 October. The main goal is to create joint solutions that will help increase efficiency and ensure stable operation of the border.
