According to Yevlash, the downing of the plane in Donbas was influenced by the personal factor of the pilot. He noted that he was shot dead by a unit of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which consisted of air defense systems.
“In particular, we see the work of small and medium-sized air defense systems, which can deal with aircraft in particular, and are very important. If a pilot feels fearless and has already made many traces and is not caught, this does not mean that he will not be caught tomorrow and the day after tomorrow”– Yevlash said.
He noted that the pilot may have decided to fly a particular aircraft but was hunted down and destroyed by the armed forces.
It is worth recalling that on May 4, the Ukrainian military shot down a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft in the Donetsk region. Its approximate price is 11 million dollars.
Also, on April 26, the army of the Main Directorate of Intelligence destroyed a Russian Ka-32 helicopter. It happened at Ostafyevo Airport in Moscow, which is owned by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
