Firefighters used three jets of water mixed with a foaming agent to extinguish, cool and burn the remaining gas in a controlled manner.

Three units of firefighters brought the fire under control within ten minutes and it took them another twenty minutes to completely extinguish the fire. “After towing the bus, firefighters cleared the road and it was closed for the duration of the intervention,” Bob said.
