Zelensky arrived in Brussels unexpectedly

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made an unannounced visit to Brussels.

This was reported by the correspondent of “European Truth” from the Belgian capital.

On October 11, Brussels will host a meeting of the Liaison Group on Ukraine’s Defense (“Rammstein format”), as well as a meeting of NATO defense ministers and a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council.

Before the start of the meeting, President Zelensky will address the press together with Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of the Alliance.

“Offline for the first time, I will participate in the Ramstein design meeting. I have an important appeal to all the current defense ministers of the countries that are part of this powerful alliance,” Zelensky later wrote in Telegram.

Also during this visit he will hold talks with Belgian Prime Minister Alexandre de Crouw in Brussels. “The most important thing is freedom and our collective security of people,” he said.

This is not the first time Zelensky has visited Brussels since the start of a full-scale invasion. His previous visit was in February this year.

Earlier in the day, Zelenskyi visited Romania, where he met with Nicolae Chuke and Alfred Simonis, the heads of both houses of the Romanian Parliament, and the country’s Prime Minister Marcel Čolaku.

After meeting Romanian President Klaus Iohannis, he announced that Ukraine and Romania Signed the Declaration of Cooperation Key areas and discussed Strengthening Ukrainian air defense.
