“We saw this blow today. You see who we're dealing with. They don't care where to hit. I don't know all the details yet, but I know there are victims, dead and injured. My condolences to the family and friends. Please accept them”– said Zelensky.
Commenting on the shelling, the president recalled the importance of improving Ukraine's air defense.
“We were at the port and President Zelensky and his team explained to us the importance of the port and told us what has been done to restore it. In particular, we saw which ports were destroyed by the attacks. At the end of the visit, near us we heard air raid sirens and loud explosions. It was an impressive experience. , we understand that this war affects everyone and leaves no one behind.”– The head of the Greek government also noted.
Earlier, we reported that Russian “Shaheds” attacked Odessa on the night of March 2. As a result of the shelling, a portion of the residential high-rise collapsed. 18 residences were destroyed and 7 were damaged.
12 people died including 5 children. Among the dead were military couple Oleg and Tetyana Kravsiv and their three children: 7-month-old Lisa, 8-year-old Zlata and 10-year-old Serhiy. In addition, two more children – 3-year-old Mark and 4-month-old Timofey – fell victim to the terrorist attack by the Russians.
