According to the report, during the meeting, the Ukrainian and Norwegian sides discussed humanitarian challenges, especially those arising in the occupied territories.
The need to create appropriate conditions in places of temporary residence of displaced persons throughout Ukraine was also discussed for the successful completion of the 2023-2024 autumn-winter season.
Provision is made for equipping temporary shelters and carrying out necessary repairs to support the displaced during the winter. In addition, the displaced will receive warm blankets, generators, heating equipment, charging stations, etc.
Counterattack by armed forces and de-occupation of populated areas
In the summer, Ukrainian defenders began offensive operations in the east and south of the country – counteroffensive operations by the armed forces continue to this day. Intense fighting is currently taking place in the direction of Avdivka, Bagmut and Melitopol.
