The enemy continues to shell the Sumi region
As of 21:00 on February 6, 2024, the situation was known in the border areas of the Sumy region.

During the day, the Russians launched 31 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. 123 outbreaks were reported. The communities of Khotinsk, Krasnopilsk, Bilopolsk, Velikopysarivsk, Novoslobidsk, Esmansk, Shalyginsk, Znob-Novgorodsk, Seredino-Budsk were set on fire.
- Community of Kot: Mortar shelling (10 blasts) and an airstrike (4 blasts) were carried out.
- Krasnopilsk Community: Enemy fired mortar (19 explosions), artillery (14 explosions) and an FPV drone (1 explosion). Additionally, VOG was dropped from the UAV (1 explosion).
- Bilopol community: Artillery (7 explosions), grenades (11 explosions), mortar fire (22 explosions), and tank fire (4 explosions) were recorded.
- Seredino-Butsk community: mortar attack (9 explosions).
- Esman Community: The Russians dropped 6 mines on the community's territory.
- Znob-Novgorod community: there was motor fire (3 explosions).
- Shalyginsk community: mortar shelling (2 explosions) and artillery shelling (3 explosions) were recorded.
- Velikopizarov Community: Enemy attacked with artillery (3 explosions).
- Novoslobodsk community: mortar attack (4 explosions).
