Together with Serhiy Lysak, head of the Regional Security Council, they held a meeting on the water situation in the areas of scarcity – these are the communities of Nikopol and Kryvorizka districts. A total of eight communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region are currently without water.

“Currently the main problem is the lack of water in Nikopol district and part of Krivoryska district. Dnipropetrovsk region is ready for any challenges, including the recent events. We are moving forward and looking for ways to develop,” said Serhii Lizak.

“This man-made disaster affected only four regions of the country – Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolayivsk, but now we see an increase in chemical substances in the Lyman and the Black Sea. Now the main thing is to organize work on the ground to eliminate the consequences. Today we can do everything possible to predict possible consequences. “We have to do because we don’t know what will happen tomorrow with water and electricity,” said Ihor Klymenko.

He also said that information about the locations of scavengers, graves and garbage dumps in the area of ​​flooded residential areas is currently being ascertained.
