Shelling in Sumi area on November 28 – three killed, including a child

During the day, the Russians launched 22 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in the Sumy region. 106 outbreaks were reported.

“Communities of Krasnopilsk, Unakivsk, Filopolsk, Kotinsk, Velikopisarivsk, Esmansk, Seredino-Butsk, Svesk were hit by shelling,” Sumi OVA reported.

The Russians shelled the Ceredino-Butsk community with mortar, artillery and MLRS:

“As a result of the projectile attack, three people were killed, including a 7-year-old girl, who succumbed to her injuries in hospital. Three others were injured,” OVA reported.

The situation in the Sumy region

At the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russians captured part of the Sumy region. Ukrainian troops liberated the area in March-April.

The Russians shell the border areas of the Sumy region every day with various weapons. Mortar, artillery, anti-aircraft guns, anti-aircraft guns are often used.

In early October, the Russians shelled a school in the Sumy region. A child was killed in the shelling.

Also in October, the city of Durushpa was set on fire. A local woman was injured when several buildings caught fire.
