Belarusian volunteer “Mujahad” died in battles for Ukraine – tsn.ua

On Saturday, April 1, it became known that a volunteer Liashuk Danil from Belarus with the call sign “Mujahad” died at the front.

Lyashuk Danil, a Ukrainian soldier from Belarus, died defending Ukraine from Russian invaders.

While he stayed at the front, Mujahid was wounded twice. For the first time – back in 2015, during the war in the Luhansk city region. The second time – already in August 2022, during a combat mission.

Daniel Lyashuk was born in Brest, Belarus. At the age of 14, he moved to Crimea, where he studied as a sailor at SevNTU (Sevastopol).

After Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014, he defended Ukraine in the ranks of a volunteer battalion that operated in the zone of counter-terrorist operations (ATO) in the east of Ukraine. On January 19, 2015 during the battle in Luhansk “Mojaket” area He was seriously injured.

In the same 2015, Danil Lyashuk was detained in a criminal-political case against the Tornado Battalion. Lyashuk was charged with several serious crimes, which he denies. Danil Liashuk insisted that he did not know about the criminal intentions of Ruslan Onyshchenko (former commander of the “Tornado” battalion – Ed.) and what he earned from the smuggling jump.

In June 2021, Danil Lyashuk was released by a court decision. After a full-scale war broke out between Russia and Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the Mujahideen returned to the front. At first, a Belarusian volunteer guarded Kyiv and the suburbs of the capital. In the spring of 2022, he took part in the Battle of Kharkiv. In July 2022, he officially joined the armed forces. He was sent to protect the Mykolaiv province. Conducted acts of sabotage on the territory of the temporarily occupied Kherson region.

In August 2022, while performing a combat mission, “Mujahid” received a second grievous wound in the stomach, lungs and liver. Despite this, together with his team, the soldier managed to capture two Russian soldiers.

After a series of operations and rehabilitation, Danil Lyashuk returned to the defense of Ukraine while doing volunteer work and music.
