KYIV. October 19. UNN Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with US President Joe Biden. The heads of state talked about the successful use of ATACMS, further US military support, the implementation of the peace formula and negotiations for Ukraine’s accession to the European Union. “Had a conversation with US President Joseph Biden and thanked him for the effective implementation of our recent defense agreements.

“Ukrainians are very impressed with the acquisition of ATACMS missiles, and our soldiers are successfully using them on the battlefield,” Zelenskiy said.


The President of Ukraine discussed further strengthening of Ukraine’s long-range capabilities with the US President.

Zelensky thanked US Special Representative Benny Pritzker for his helpful visit, during which constructive negotiations began on how to use frozen Russian assets.

The President of Ukraine did not ignore the recent law on politically significant persons, adopted by the Ukrainian parliament to promote reforms and start negotiations for joining the European Union.

Volodymyr Zelensky also noted that Joe Biden’s visit to Israel was aimed at seeking peace and protecting civilian life. Also, the heads of state discussed the next joint steps to advance the peace formula, and Zelensky welcomed the decision by the United States to send its representative to the next meeting of advisers in Malta later this month.

“Ukraine is grateful for the vital and constant support of the United States in our struggle for independence and against Russian aggression,” Zelensky summed up.
