President Volodymyr Zelensky met in Kyiv with Minister of Defense of the Netherlands Kaisa Ollongren, who had earlier visited Dnipro.

Zelensky emphasized the importance of Kaisa Ollongren's visit to the city of Dnipro, where the Dutch delegation had the opportunity to see with their own eyes the devastating consequences of Russian aerial terrorism.
“We are grateful to the Dutch government, led by the Prime Minister, Parliament and society, for all the support and important decisions for Ukraine. We signed the most powerful document in the field of security between countries,” he said.
Zelenskiy emphasized the important role of the Netherlands in the operation of the International Aviation Alliance and thanked the Dutch government for the important decision to transfer F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
He detailed the situation on the battlefield and the urgent needs of the Ukrainian defenders. The interlocutors paid special attention to the strengthening of the Ukrainian air defense system, the provision of artillery, armored vehicles and unmanned aerial vehicles, especially within the framework of joint projects.
