Defense Minister of DPRK made a strange statement about Russian dictator Putin – World – tsn.ua

The minister’s words were not included in the Chinese state media’s report on the meeting in Russia, nor in the Kremlin’s official announcement of the event.

Head of Ministry of Defence China Li Shanfu noted the warm ties between Beijing and Moscow and praised Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for bringing “world peace.”

This is what the publication said Bloomberg.

The news indicated the words were in a speech the Chinese minister read during a meeting with Putin and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu last Sunday. A video with this speech has been published on the site of Chinese company NetEase Inc.

In particular, Shanfu initially called Putin “a great head of state” and noted his “important contribution to promoting peace and development around the world.” Such statements are in stark contrast to the way the West treats Putin, where he is considered a war criminal and wanted by the International Criminal Court.

The publication notes that Shangfu’s words were not included in Chinese state media’s report on the meeting in Russia, nor in the Kremlin’s official announcement of the event.

Reporters reached out to the Chinese Defense Ministry’s news service for comment, but they declined to comment there.

It is to be recalled that earlier, Russian dictator Putin met Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu. Against this, the United States imposed economic sanctions to cooperate with the Russian Federation.

Besides, we reported the day before The US has added 12 Chinese companies to its sanctions list. Meanwhile, China complained that it would negatively affect the stability of global supply chains.
